We have been running monthly critiques since 2015, we started running them in Water lane Coffee house, Canterbury. During 2016/17 we have been running them across Folkestone including; Strange Cargo Arts, ]performance s p a c e[, BREW, Steep Street Coffee house, Lime Bar, Brewery Tap Project Space, The Stables, Sassoon Gallery. During 2018 we will be taking the critiques across Kent again!
Our open crits are for all visual artists who want to discuss their work with other artists. These crits are put in place for artists to take their practice further.
Threads crit sessions are for artists to discuss and develop work-in-progress/new work. The aim is for each Artist to produce new work and for their practise to develop through discussion on a peer-to-peer level. Artists will discuss their work and have the opportunity to discuss with the entire group. Mediums/formats are open to all disciplines in visual arts.
